One of the highlights of the weekend was the Civil War Live! experience at the County Museum in Hartlebury yesterday. The event, which continues today, transported visitors back in time to the year 1646 as re-enactors brought to life garrison life at the height of the bloody conflict between king and parliament. Visitors learned about what the soldiers ate and had the chance to wear their body armour and handle a musket at one of the most important sites in Worcestershire during the civil war.
People also had the chance to learn about how they might have coped with the plague, the Great Fire of London and conscription.
