MEMBERS of the public can visit a unique collection of more than 50 tractors at a one-day charity show.
The collection has been built up by building contractor Michael Thorne over 25 years. He has been holding his charity day for the last 18 years for a variety of charities and groups, including Devon Air Ambulance, the Children’s Hospice, Greenpeace and the Eve Appeal. For the second year running, money raised from the event, on Saturday, July 4, will go to the North Devon Hospice. More than 1,000 people are expected at the event, which will include tractors dating back to 1936, including two Porsche models.
The event begins at 11am. Entry is £3 for adults and £1.50 for children.
