move and more I mentioned earlier this week that Keith Urban performed at ‘s finale with about-to-be-crowned Kris Allen. An interesting interview from the red carpet prior to the event revealed that Urban had this to say about Kris, “He’s so young. A guy like that can improve in leaps and bounds in miniscule bits of time, so I think he’s on a great road.” Vince Gill hosted his 17th Annual Golf Tournament, in Kingston Springs this week. Celebrity golf legend Arnold Palmer was on-hand for the event. As previously reported, was recently released from the country side of her label, Sony. Numerous reports are now saying that Country Legend, Dolly Parton has expressed interest in helping Jessica reach her potential in Music City. Dolly recently broke away from her longtime partnership with Sugar Hill Records to form her own label and management company, Dolly Records. If anyone can get Jessica’s career back on track, it’s Dolly. sent a twitter message earlier this week that said, “did anyone else feel the earthquake. 5.0!!” Seems the teen sensation had just returned to LA from a weekend in the Bahamas. Also on the CLOTHESLINE: J-Love, er, um, Jennifer Love Hewitt announced this week that she will be recording a country album. More to the point, her boyfriend, and Ghost Whisperer co-star, Jamie Kennedy broke the story to People Magazine. He told the mag, “Jennifer is writing a country song. I really want to make her a demo of her music. I think she should be singing again, she’s so good.” Fans of Love will recall that she has already recorded a total of six albums, only two of which were released in the states. Her first release was 1992’s Love Songs, followed by Let’s Go Bang, both had success in Japan, where, apparently she’s a big pop star. Her first US release was 1996’s self-titled project. in 1999, she had a single on the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer Soundtrack, that charted at 59. Followed by 2002’s BareNaked and two more Japanese releases, 2006’s Cool with You: The Platinum Collection–that’s right, a Greatest Hits package–and the 2007 Japanese release of Hey Everybody.
