NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif.
— KZG’s award-winning forged irons were in the winner’s bag again at last week’s rain soaked Regions Charity Classic in Hoover, Alabama. It only took 36 holes but Keith Fergus claimed his second Champions Tour win of the season by shooting 66-66 to win by three strokes. This is Keith’s second win in his past four starts and he is now second on the money list and third in the Charles Schwab Cup standings. Keith played the event using KZG’s Forged CB-II Ms in 7-PW, which he also used to win the Championship in March. Keith was custom-fit into his KZG irons by Mike Nugent from Impact Golf & Racket in Houston, TX. Mike is a KZG Master Clubfitter and member of the International Professional Association of ClubFitters (IPAC). During a recent visit to KZG headquarters, Keith stated that working with Mike Nugent and KZG had changed his game. It was the first time he was custom fit by a Master Clubfitter which gave him renewed confidence. He is such a strong believer in KZG products and a true gentleman. He is having a terrific season and we believe it is going to get even better,” said Jennifer King, President of KZG.
