Jenson Button plans to take part in this year’s London Triathlon and will be raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation.
The charity grants children and young people with life-threatening illnesses their dearest wishes, and Jenson has been a patron for the past four years. The Formula One driver, who hails from Frome, said: “I have been taking part in triathlons over the past couple of years as a way of keeping fit for my racing. “This year I am aiming to finish in the top 10 per cent of the London Triathlon, so no pressure.” The event takes place on August 1 and 2 and will be held at the city’s ExCel Centre.
