Get involved Golfing event A CHARITY which supports brave North East youngsters has been chosen to benefit from this year’s Northumbria Police Pro-Am golf
tournament. The tournament, now in its 24th year, has raised £400,000 for good causes since 1986 and this year’s chosen charity is Brave Hearts of the North East, which honours children who have shown incredible courage battling to overcome illness, disabilities or other adversities. There are still limited vacancies left for businesses who want to take part in this year’s event, at Matfen Hall Golf Club on Thursday, June 25. It costs £350 for a team of three.
