Hundreds of people are set to take part in a 12-hour charity challenge along the Southern Upland Way.
The walk across southern Scotland is designed to raise funds for sporting and war veteran charities. The Poppyscotland Hearts and Heroes event starts at St Mary’s Loch and finishes in the town of Melrose.
Teams from the armed services, rugby clubs and other groups are expected to take part along with Olympic athlete Steve Cram.
