AROUND 1,000 riders geared up to take part in a massive procession at the weekend.
The Bridgwater chapter of the Harley Owners Group held its 18th annual cider rally from Sand Bay Holiday village over the bank holiday weekend. It was the biggest event of its type in the club’s history and riders arrived from across the country to take part in three days of fun and frolics. The rally was supported by a number of bands who played all weekend and the main procession went from Sand Bay, around Weston and arrived on the Beach Lawns on Saturday. It is the chapter’s first major rally of the season and the event raised money for cancer charity Sarah’s Appeal, started by a group member who recovered from the illness.
