All For The Love Of Brave Little Andrew 2009: Hollie Renfrew

All for the love of brave little Andrew

HOLLIE Renfrew will go through the whole gamut of emotions when she tackles her first ever marathon in London tomorrow.
She will pound the streets around the Capital in a bid to raise pots of cash for her chosen charity – Help The Hospices. And it will all be in memory of her wee brother Andrew. Hollie, 24, was just 15 when she lost Andrew to Infantile Batten Disease when he was just nine years old. So all sorts of thoughts will be swimming around in her head as she races past attractions such as the House of Commons and the London Eye on her first visit to the capital. She told the Express: “Andrew was diagnosed with Batten Disease when he was just 18 months old, and he received a lot of care and attention from hospice staff.
“I work for the Clydesdale Bank in Paisley and Help The Hospices is our charity partner.
