DON’T hang up your dancing shoes just because ‘Strictly’ is finished.
The Anzac Tea Dances are being organised across Scotland in local town halls and community centres to help raise funds for the Royal British Legion and commemorate Anzac Day on April 25. Strictly star Anton Du Beke said: “The Anzac Tea Dances offer a great way to not only have fun and raise much needed funds for the Royal British Legion but to commemorate Anzac Day and remember those injured and killed for their country in wars across the world.” The tea dance campaign is designed to get children, parents, grandparents and the local community to enjoy a good old- fashioned tea dance. The dances can be wartime themed or just a fun fundraising event for the Royal British Legion. Organisers can register their event online at the website www.anzacteadance.com, or call 0870 240 1640 for further information.
