If music be the food of love, you can find some musical therapy to soothe the soul next month when Monash students present a Shakespeare Songathon.
The classical voice students from the Monash music department are singing the words of Shakespeare as arranged by various composers to raise money for the Creative Connections program at Bethlehem Hospital. Not only do all proceeds go to the hospitals program to provide music and art therapy for those dealing with death and grief, but you can also sponsor a song with a gold, silver or bronze donation.
The August 9 concert is beautiful music for a beautiful cause, so Shakespeare fans and lovers of classical music can enjoy the Monash Songathon and share some musical therapy with those in need.
