The Onedayout festival is run by volunteers from The Oaktree Foundation. It aims to raise money to fight AIDS/HIV in South Africa.

The Oaktree Foundation is Australias first youth run international aid and development agency and the Oneday campaign is The Oaktree Foundations largest fundraising campaign. Raising money every year to support Oaktrees education projects overseas, this year the Oneday movement shifts its attention to South Africa, particularly the GOLD peer education project in KwaZulu-Natal. Areas of KwaZulu-Natal have the highest rates of AIDS/HIV in the world. The GOLD project fights AIDS/HIV by educating young people and giving them the hope for a better future. In 2008 the campaign aims to raise a quarter of a million dollars by mobilising people all over Australia to raise money by running an event or giving up one days pay.

Activities on the day include a live art auction, silent auction, garage sale stalls, childrens entertainment and competitions, food vendors, nice people and lovely atmosphere. Two stages will be running through the day featuring music from Australian musicians and bands including:
Coby Grant, Me and the Grownups, Anthony Neives,
Shaun Kirk, The April Maze, Simeon,
Kanvas Grey, Emily Hanscamp, Ember,
Abbie Cardwell, Josh Carter, Katt Beames,
