There is a massive total prize pool of $180 000 up for grabs in the City of Melbourne’s Signature of M art competition, raising funds for the AFL Foundation.
Registration opens in July, but with such a huge prize allocation there’s sure to be an overload of entries, and you might want to get a jump on the competition.
As an additional incentive, hundreds of Melbourne companies and businesses will team with Signature of M to, from the winning artwork, produce an emblem for Melbourne to be immortalised as a permanent fixture in many of Melbournes hot spots and attractions.
The Signature of M winning artists will be announced in November 2008, the works will be auctioned off to raise funds for the AFL Foundation.
