An exhibition of more than 30 textiles from an Oxfam Australia supported overseas program, Fancy Stitch, is in Melbourne this month.
The exhibition showcases the talents of women, known as ‘Hot Girls’, living in the Ingwavuma area of KwaZulu-Natal who make unique brightly-coloured handicrafts, artworks and textiles that give an intimate portrayal of their lives.
The Oxfam Australia Fancy Stitch exhibition is in Melbourne from March 5 until 31.
