Redkite Scholarships are aimed at supporting and encouraging young cancer patients and survivors, helping them to overcome the setback of a battle with cancer.
Redkite, formally known as The Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children in Australia, was formed in 1983 and provides a range of support programmes for young people who suffer from cancer.
A number of scholarship awards are available including six $2000 State and Regional Scholarships, twelve $1000 High Commendation Awards and a further twelve $500 Encouragement Awards.
Applications for Redkite Scholarships close on April 30 this is the seventh year the programme has operated, supporting young cancer patients.
