This week prepare for something a little bit canine and a little bit couture with the Guide Dogs Victoria Fashions on the Field for Dogs competition.
It’s an event to rival the world renown and respected Melbourne Fashion Week, with dogs from all over the State getting pampered, primped and pristined up for the catwalk, where they will be ogled, prodded, leered at and judged by whatever it is that they’re wearing.
Look forward to fun, creative, silly, adventurous and also seriously dog-fashion-minded outfits entered in by loving, caring and creative dog owners.
The awards to vie for will be Best Dressed male dog, Best Dressed female dog, Best Dressed most creative outfit and Best Dressed overall winner.
There will be other frivolities on the day including raffles, Top Dog Day merchandise to buy, pet goody stores to peruse, Van Go Coffee and Juice Vans to perk people up and photographers to provide permanent keepsakes from the occasion.
To enter your furry little Zoolander it will cost a mere $10, and the first 100 people to pre-register either by email or on the day will receive a Show Bag with lots of pet pampering goodies, including a Sass Pets dog coat and Frontline products.
The Guide Dogs Victoria Fashions on the Fields for Dogs is on July 15 at Caulfield Park. MCing the event will be Channel Nine’s Georgia Sinclair.
