Over the Easter holidays a lot of us will be giving to charities, but this Easter, one charity, the Rotary Club, is giving back to us.
Volunteer SES workers will be posted at roadside stops all over the country, supported by the Rotary Club, to make sure this Easter is a safe one for everyone driving.
The stops will be decked out with free Bushells tea, coffee and biscuits and they’ll be clearly marked and visible from the major roads and highways.
The Driver reviver stops only operate during holiday periods so make the most of them.
If you’re not going away for the long holiday weekend then don’t forget about the many charity events on today, like the Dorothy the Dinosaur show at the Telstra Dome, for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
But most inportantly remember that road accidents can often be avoided by adhering to the laws and advicefrom the appropriate road authorities. So if you’re on the road this Easter holiday period be safe and if you’re tired, take a rest at a SES Rotary Club roadside stop.
