Oaks day, for many years, has been the day when stallions take a seat in the shadows of the catwalkand watch the lovely ladies compete for a prize pool of more than $100 000 in the Autumn fashion event, the David Jones Fashions on the Field.
This year for the first time ever the David Jones Oaks Day Marquee will be open to the public. Which means you cansupport the National Breast Cancer Foundation by buying a $500 entry ticket.
The ticket will get you into the tent as well asprovide you with Mot & Chandon champagne and an exclusive Belinda Franks dining experience.
There are 100 tickets and every ticket purchased comes with the chance of winning a $4600 Vespa LX50, donated by Scooteria, including all on-road costs.
