Mr David W. Loewy has paid $5 400US for a seat on Virgin America’s First Flight.
Mr Loewy bid for tickets online and snapped up two seats on the inaugural flight.
The Virgin flight was filled with celebrities like the man himself, Richard Branson, America’s Next Top Model Caridee English, and The Cold War Kids.
It has little to do with the celebrities. And quite frankly, I don’t know anybody on the flight besides Richard Branson.

The First Virgin America Flight took off on August 8. The massive fare was donated to the KIPP Foundation.
