In response to the obesity epidemic facing our youth, Body Sculpt of New York created the Children’s Sports & Fitness Expo.

This coming on June 28, 2014 , the Expo engages children in over 20 sports activities, nutrition clinics and health screenings throughout the day. The sports activities include but are not limited to: fencing, soccer, archery, gymnastics, volleyball, golf, hula hoop, etc.

Through this event families are introduced to programs and services that are available to improve their health, thereby reducing the effects of obesity in their lives. The Expo runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is a requirement for children to participate in 2 sports activities, a nutrition clinic and a health screening prior to receiving a gift bag full of donated products from our community partners.

Volunteers are expected to assist in registration of the children as well as assisting the fitness instructors in keeping the kids organized during the event.
