“Everything is good if it’s made of chocolate.” – Jo Brand
Enjoy an abundance of Lindt Chocolates in an event that will highlight and raise awareness to Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a disease that affects an estimated one million people globally. The FSH Global Research Foundation has been the peak medical advocacy body for FSHD in Australia, driving awareness and prompting medical practitioners to pay more attention to creating clinical trials for treating FSHD patients.
Apart from curing FSHD, the foundation also aims to fund research catered into muscle technology and wellness, as well as other muscular dystrophies and disorders. Join the 12th Annual Sydney Chocolate Ball – a night of extravagant entertainment and a decadent three-course chocolate-inspired menu by award-winning chef Luke Mangan OAM. A night filled with chocolate is a night you won’t forget.
There is no grey in finding a cure, it’s a black and white mission, inspiring the 2023 chocolate ball theme of “Black and White”.”
With your support, we aim to exceed the success of the 2022 ball, which raised over $1.2 million enabling life-changing medical research into the debilitating disease, FSHD.
This chocoholic black-tie gala welcomes over 550 guests, attracting sponsors from an array of industries including high-profile personalities, prominent Australian companies and local celebrities, generating a key networking environment.
With opportunities to secure incredible “money can’t buy” experiences and active fundraising initiatives, the Sydney Chocolate Ball is an event not to be missed.
