The 10th annual Arts and Crafts 2000 will be returning to Corunna Athletic Park on Sunday.
The charity show will feature 130 exhibitors, with all proceeds going to support St. Joseph’s Church in Corunna. “We have people who do textiles, candles, woodworking — practically anything that you can dream of is there,” said show organizer Jackie McLellan. Crafters from as far away as the Maritimes and Quebec will be selling their products at the show. Vendors Elsa Rocca and her husband are returning to the show for the fifth year to sell their handmade wood products. “It’s awesome. We always get a good turnout,” said Rocca, who will be selling cedar bird feeders, birdhouses and trellises. Rocca expects to sell as many as 30 birdhouses which range from $15 for a small house to $100 for what she calls a “bird mansion” complete with multiple entrances and separate compartments.
The show raised $10,000 last year, McLellan said, and she is hoping for another good year.
