15th Annual Jim Gibbons Walk And Survivor’s Strut

The 15th Annual Jim Gibbons Walk and Survivors Strut.

Every year more than 2,500 participants walk, run and strut together at the Chicago’s downtown lakefront to raise funds for a worthy cause
This walk is intended to raise funds for the Leukemia Research Foundation (LRF) and assist the search of a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. There is also a post event party with good food, refreshments and live music. Whats more, theres also be an Awards ceremony with cash prizes for the top three male and female runners. All this will happen at the 15th Annual Jim Gibbons Walk and Survivors Strut.
There will be two event sites, one in Grant Park – Lower Hutchinson Field and another in downtown Wilmette. The Grant Park portion will be separated into two events: the Men’s & Women’s 5K Run and a non-competitive 3K Walk/Survivors’ Strut.
