ORLANDO, Fla., Feb.
17 /PRNewswire/ — Team Captains Mark O’Meara and Ernie Els will once again lead a roster of golf stars from Isleworth Golf & Country Club and Lake Nona Golf & Country Club into the 2009 Tavistock Cup. Celebrating its sixth year, the Tavistock Cup is a unique interclub competition pitting the golf professional members of Isleworth against their counterparts at Lake Nona. The officially sanctioned PGA Tour event takes place at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club March 16-17. The tournament’s past participants have featured golf’s biggest names, including O’Meara, Els, Stuart Appleby, Darren Clarke, Paula Creamer, Sergio Garcia, Trevor Immelman, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Annika Sorenstam and Tiger Woods. Complete team rosters for this year’s tournament will be released in March.
