Two words that are highly associated with Christmas are “presents” and “food”. Every Christmas, shops are full of people buying gifts for their loved ones. Restaurants are overflowing with people indulging in good food and drinks because after all, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year… the hap-happiest season of all.” However, this isn’t the case for some people who on normal days already struggle to pay their bills and to put food on the table. As much as they want to celebrate and make the holiday season special for their family, most especially their kids, sadly, they just can’t afford to. This is where Christmas 4 Kids steps in.
Christmas 4 Kids is a longstanding non-profit organization that has made thousands of underprivileged children in Middle Tennessee experience the joy of Christmas. Their goal is to make a kid smile during the holiday season, no matter how dire their circumstances are. To help them achieve this goal, they will be having their annual Christmas 4 Kids Concert on November 20 at the Ryman Auditorium. Proceeds from this event will go to ensuring that over 400 kids will get to experience the magic of the holidays, complete with a party with Santa, a special gift, and some shopping money.
Join us for our annual Christmas 4 Kids Concert at the Ryman Auditorium! This year’s lineup includes Shenandoah, Phil Vassar, Chapel Hart, Mikayla Lane and more to be announced! Each year, Christmas 4 Kids provides hundreds of underprivileged children in Middle Tennessee with their very own Christmas shopping spree. The funds generated by the Ryman concert and Tour Bus Show/Artist Meet and Greet event, are used to give over 400 children from 29 different schools, a day-long shopping excursion. The special day consists of a chauffeured trip from their school aboard an entertainer’s luxury tour bus, dinner, and a party hosted by Santa. To wrap up the day, the tour buses journey to the Hendersonville, Tennessee Walmart where the children receive a brand new winter coat, and $175.00 to spend however they choose.
