Mirrool marked its centenary over three days, with celebrations hosted by the Mirrool Silo Kick Challenge Committee.
Those attending the weekend enjoyed the launch of the Mirrool History Book, camp oven-style dinner, slideshows, balls, concerts and a street parade. The third Wagga Wagga Takes Two was held on Thursday and Friday nights at the Capital Entertainment Centre, with 12 couples taking part in the charity fundraiser. Local celebrities such as Kay Hull, Garry Hiscock and Rachael Rees teamed with entertainers including Daryl Day, Rebecca Hennessy and Joel Harrison to raise funds for local charities.
