Presented by PCWorx, former National Basketball Association (NBA) MVP Allen Iverson will be visiting Manila, Philippines for a beneficial basketball coaching event with Gawad Kalinga. The event is will be on 5 November 2014 at 7PM at Mall of Asia Arena.
Iverson is very excited not just to extend his support but also to see and be with his Filipino fans. Hello, Manila. I cant wait to see all of you this November, Iverson said in an email. Im very thankful for the opportunity to come out there and be a part of a good cause for the poor and homeless Filipinos.
At present, Iverson is currently busy touring the United States holding basketball clinics. Gary Moore, Iversons longtime manager and close friend, said it is part of the 1996 NBA Draft top pick and future Hall of Famers preparations as he seriously plans to venture into coaching in the near future.
