UNICEF and other aid agencies have continuously been reporting on and pleading for help on behalf of Iraqi families and children, and now Angelina Jolie (pictured top and below) has visited the country with the UN Refugee Agency to bring even more attention to the issue.
The actress and activist took a tour of a camp in outer Baghdad and visited families and children displaced by the ongoing conflict.
Jolie was positive, but realistic and genuinely concerned for the refugees.
‘I want to come back and find you in a better place and in a different situation. You need help not because you are poor, but because you are the future of Iraq,’ Angelina Jolie said.
