At its core, it’s a cycling event of various distances, where riders commit to raise a pre-determined dollar amount by requesting support from personal contacts. Riders traverse through the challenging and hilly terrain of the Lower Hudson Valley, showcasing the region’s breathtaking sceneryhome to some of the best cycling in the Northeast.
Whether you ride, volunteer or donate, 100% of the dollars raised by participants will go toward lifesaving cancer immunotherapy research.The A2C cycling event is the signature grassroots fundraising initiative for CRI’sCancer Immunotherapy Monthin June. Cancer Immunotherapy Month takes place on an annual basis in the month of June and is the cornerstone of the Cancer Research Institute’s Campaign to White Out Cancer. During Cancer Immunotherapy Month CRI organizes a series of educational, fundraising, and online events–all designed to raise awareness and critical funds for scientific research.The Cancer Research Institute hopes this ride will become an annual cornerstone event for the region and that together we can make incredible strides toward finding a cure for this terrible disease, so events like this are no longer needed.
