Area golf briefs

May 4, 2009 All youth ages 13 and older are welcome to attend.
Registration is on the first Saturday, May 16, at 3 p.m. Parents are asked to attend the first 20 minutes to learn about the program along with their sons and daughters. Prospective caddies are required to attend three of the four training days. For more information contact the golf shop at 458-3536. A few openings remain for Town & Country’s adult group lessons. Class size is limited to 14 students. The class will be taught by two PGA club professionals. Lessons are Tuesday or Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:15.
Cost is $90, which includes six weeks of lessons, a certificate for twilight golf and a certificate for 10 percent off an equipment purchase. Classes begin this week.
