Art, entertainment and food will fill downtown Banning on Saturday for the annual Art Hop.
The outdoor festival is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the area of San Gorgonio Avenue and Ramsey Street. “It takes up about four blocks,” said Gin McMillin, event coordinator at the Banning Cultural Alliance. The festival will feature 77 booths, 20 of which are reserved for independent artists. There will be an ethnic art exhibit featuring Latino, Asian Indian and African-American art, as well as demonstrations of Chinese brush painting. People can learn about American Indian musical instruments at the Dorothy Ramon Learning Center.
The City Council chambers will be open to display artwork by current and past city government officials.
