Are you a fan of chocolate chip cookies? How about red velvet cakes? Do you fancy lemon pies? Or do you prefer blueberry cupcakes more? On February 28, get ready to taste these, and more, in Mattatuck Museum’s 2nd Annual Brass City Bake Off! Proceeds from this event will go to ensuring that the museum will continue on with their mission which is to nurture “creativity and learning through transformative experiences to encourage a deeper understanding of ourselves and our heritage.”

Due to the great success of our inaugural baking competition, we’re bringing back this sweet competition!
Companies and non-profits are encouraged to nominate a supervisor or staff member to participate in this amateur bake off! Wow the community and other businesses with your signature bakes. (Each sponsorship allows one baking participant, but additional bakers can be added).
This year we will have three baking categories: cake/cupcake, cookie/dessert bar, and pie/tart. Three local expert judges will vote on the best bake from each category. Attendees sample each bake and vote on the “People’s Choice” plus bid to take their favorite bake home!
