Bakers go doughnutty for charity

May 8 2009 CAMPBELL’S Bakery in Crieff is planning to raise cash for charity during National Doughnut week which runs from Saturday, May 9
to Saturday, May 16. The King Street bakery pledges to give eight pence for every doughnut sold during the week to The Children’s Trust, and will be one of hundreds of high street bakeries across the country supporting the annual event. The money raised will be used by The Children’s Trust to provide specialist care, treatment, education and rehabilitation for children with profound disabilities and complex health needs. Campbell’s Bakery Managing Director Iain Campbell said: “We’re calling on the people in Crieff to get involved. We hope that all our customers will support us and help raise as much money as we can for The Children’s Trust’s vital work”.
