Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia affect hundreds of thousands of Canadians, making research, specialized care and innovation increasingly important. Baycrest brings these areas together through its work in brain health and aging, supported in part by fundraising through the Baycrest Foundation.
The Baycrest Pro-Am 2027 will take place from May 13 to 15 at Scotiabank Pond in Toronto, bringing hockey players together with professional hockey legends for a tournament dedicated to taking on Alzheimer’s.
Teams compete across three games while fundraising for Baycrest, with participants able to play alongside a drafted hockey legend. The event has raised more than $35 million for Baycrest since 2005, supporting research, innovation, care and education in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Teams and individual players can register to take part, with fundraising requirements applying to participants.
