Homes for Dinner 2026: Helping Toronto Find Its Way Home

Toronto’s annual Homes for Dinner fundraiser supports housing, shelter and essential services for people experiencing homelessness.

Everyone deserves a safe place to call home, yet many people in Toronto continue to face barriers to stable housing. Homes First works to address this challenge by providing shelter, supportive housing and essential services to people experiencing homelessness.

Homes for Dinner: The Next Chapter takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at the Bram & Bluma Appel Salon inside the Toronto Reference Library in downtown Toronto. The annual fundraising evening brings together community supporters and leaders to help strengthen the services available to people who need housing and support.

Funds raised through the event help Homes First maintain its housing and shelter programs while providing critical services that support residents as they work toward greater stability and independence. The organisation’s work reflects the importance of combining safe accommodation with practical, ongoing support.

Through an evening of community and generosity, Homes for Dinner aims to help build a Toronto where more people can find a place to call home. Discover more about the event and its mission here.
