Beatles Day has been officially launched by John Lennon’s sister, Julia Baird, and TV’s Ricky Tomlinson.
The event will happen again, following the huge success of last year’s inaugural Beatles Day, which had support from stars including Russell Brand, Pink and the Sugababes.
Merchandise like Beatles-style mop-top wigs, t-shirts and badges are on sale now, and available internationally, with funds raised going to The Imagine Appeal for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and the Marina Dalglish Appeal.
Beatles Day, July 10, will culminate in a huge concert featuring loads of stars playing The Beatles songs.
