After watching her great uncle battle the disease, Ms Neumann said it was time to do her bit. “I just want to help families affected by the disease and raise as much as I can,” Ms Neumann said. With a goal of raising $3.5 million through this year’s event, Leukaemia Foundation of Queensland chief executive officer Peter Johnstone said it was wonderful to hear some of the stories of why people shaved.
