New moms have many concerns to think about, and if they do not have the support they need, they will struggle with holding down employment as well as job training and educating themselves on parenting.
A nonprofit organization in Knoxville wants to ease the burden on new mamas and help them with essentials such as diapers, bottles, clothing, car seats and more.
The mission of Helping Mamas is to connect helping mamas to mamas needing help.
Their fundraiser, Bloom Bash, is an opportunity to raise money to continue supporting moms in the Knoxville area. A fashion show and silent auction will take place March 24 from 6:30-8:30 pm EST at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill.
