Get involved PLAYING with his dad’s gold wedding ring, Britain’s Got Talent star Greg Pritchard today reveals his pain at never saying goodbye to
his father. More than 12 million viewers last night saw the high-pitched Johnny Depp lookalike breeze into the ITV1 show’s next round singing his bizarre version of Nessun Dorma. But the 24-year-old, who lives in the tiny village of Trostrey near Usk, hid the pain of his dad Spencer’s death three years ago this month as he wowed judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. Greg, who waits tables at the five-star Celtic Manor Hotel near Newport, told Wales on Sunday: “I don’t want to be the sob story, but it’s a huge part of my life.” Speaking at the £500,000 luxury bungalow he shares with mum Debra, 47, and brother Jack, 13, Greg confided: “It’s hard losing a parent, but I had to carry on. “His death came out of the blue, it was a total shock, a blur.
“I still imagine he’s going to walk through the door and sit in his chair.”
