Filipino American singer and Broadway star Stephanie Reese along with other performances just recently took the stage for the concert held at the Jefferson Theater in Beaumont Texas. Several area groups and businesses came together to sponsor the H.O.P.E. Concert (Heroes of Poverty Eradication) for victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.

They showed a video during the concert of those who survived and Filipinos getting a new start. The audience was touched by the efforts to raise funds. Proceeds from the concert will go towards Gawad Kalinga USA, which works to help those in dire poverty in the Philippines.
