A great day was had by all and a big thankyou goes to the boys who lent carts on the day, the women golfers who provided food and helped out, as well as lunch chefs Ben and Amy Ho. Club manager Jarrard Noonan also helped make the day a huge success. Special thanks to score-checkers Bruce Soulsby (who went around with the winning team), Peter Wilson and John Martin as well as Buddy Darcy for his efforts. Last Wednesday was the Deb Kentwell trophy day, an American Foursomes invitation and thank you Deb for your doughnuts on the day. There were 14 players and congratulations to the winning team of Deb Kentwell and Ruby Fowler on 63 1/2. Jan Barclay and Joan Robey 66 were second with Josie Cosgrove and Di Simmons 66 1/2 close behind in third. Ruby Fowler was nearest the pin on the fourth and Janet Ruskin-Rowe won the 16th.
