MODELS will be strutting their stuff in a fashion show and sale to raise money for Grimsby hospital’s breast cancer suite.
All proceeds from the stylish event – on Friday, March 6 – will be given to the Pink Rose Appeal, which helps maintain the breast cancer care unit at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital. It has been organised by staff from Kettle Funeral Directors, and will feature high street clothes which are available to buy. Denise Rudd, who works as an administrator at Kettle’s, said raising money for the unit was a subject close to her heart. “Everybody knows somebody who has been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she said. “I have two family members who have been through it. “It is nice to raise money for a local charity and we hope people will come along, have a great night and boost funds for the unit.”
As reported, the Pink Rose Unit came about following a fundraising appeal in partnership with the Grimsby Telegraph.
