A CONCERT in memory of a young musician raised £530 for a medical charity.
The event, in Birdsedge Village Hall, was organised in memory of musician Chris Gibson, who died of a brain tumour in March last year, aged 29. Brighouse singer, Roger Davies, performed along with Amy Atkinson and her band Midnight Express. Both were friends of Chris. A PROUD dad has seen his 20-month-old baby son for the first time after an operation saved his sight.
