And finally tonight…Golfers got into the swing of things today to raise money for a local charity.Community Charities of Minnesota hosted its sixth annual
golf tournament at Le Sueur Country Club.One hundred percent of the proceeds are going to the Miracle League of North Mankato and Fallenstein Field.The tournament included almost 20, four-person teams.Event organizers say the money raised will be put to good use.Justin Mathes says, “We raised a lot of money to build the field at Caswell Park and now we need more funds for the operation of the league.”Fallenstein Field is Minnesota’s only handicapped and wheelchair accessible softball field built for children AND adults with all types of disabilities.
