When you were a kid, what sports did you play? Did you play basketball, volleyball, or track-and-field? If you were given a chance then to become a pro athlete and represent your country in a worldwide sports competition such as the FIFA World Cup, Wimbledon, or even the Olympics, would you have taken it? How about if you were given a chance to sponsor young athletes now to reach for their pro dreams, would you say yes to it?
Good Sports is an organization that “drives equitable access in youth sports and physical activity, by supporting children in high-need communities to achieve their greatest potential, on the field and in life.” They understand that while some families have the money to spend on athletic gear and sports camps, others don’t have that. For this reason, Good Sports will be holding their annual fundraiser, the Chicago Legends Gala, on September 19. Happening at the Four Seasons Chicago Hotel, this event will bring together sports industry professionals, community leaders, and people like you who want to help kids reach for their dreams.

HISTORY OF LEGENDS
Good Sports’ Annual Chicago Legends Gala, now in its 14th year, is a fundraising event which brings together supporters of Good Sports’ mission to help get more kids in the game. This event has grown to an audience of nearly 300 business and sports industry professionals, an established silent auction, recognition of professional athletes and dignified community leaders for their work in their communities and much more. The event is a major fundraising opportunity in Chicago each year.
Wife of former US President Lyndon B. Johnson, Lady Bird Johnson, once said, “Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.” On September 19, wear your best attire and show your support to these young promising athletes. Get your tickets to the Chicago Legends Gala here now.
