Bath has been brought to life with the sound of music.
The city’s Sing For Life festival has proved a huge success with young and old and has seen numerous concerts taking place across Bath. During the day on Saturday, children aged between eight and 18 took part in singing workshops to prepare of an evening spectacle at the Forum theatre. The primary and secondary school children from across the city were split into smaller groups to learn a series of world music songs. Twelve-year-old Ella, from Hayesfield School, was in the soprano group and had enjoyed the day. She said: “It has been good. Although the music can be quite hard to follow it has been fun. “We have learnt songs from across the world, including Mexico, Sweden, India and Africa.
“I quite like the one on Spanish. The Swedish one is quite hard because you have to make hard sounds.
