Coldplay and Elton John are thinking of others this festive season, both big names are holding auctions for charity.

Coldplay will auction off a host of memorabilia in the End of Decade Clearout Sale, raising funds for Kids Company.
Elton John is selling off a wardrobe full of costumes in the Out the Closet 2009 auction raising funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
