A CHALFONT St Giles parish councillor has signed up for Iain Rennie Hospice at Home’s Goodnight Walk.
Michael Stannard will be one of 100 men taking part in the event at midnight on June 6, which is designed to raise funds for the charity. The annual event is this year opening its doors for men to take part, having previously only allowed women to enter. Mr Stannard said: “I am delighted that they goodnight walk has been opened up to men this year, giving me the opportunity to take part and show my respect for this most worthy of causes. The 11-mile route takes walkers from the Amersham and Chiltern Rugby club, through the Chalfonts and into Chesham before returning to the rugby club for breakfast.
