multi-charity event raising over $22,000. Guests called this season “the best one yet” as the winners in both money raised and audience choice, wowed the crowd with their spectacular performance. Dr. Rene Dell’Acqua and her son, Courtland Dell’Acqua Marlett, raised almost $9,000 for Olive Crest, followed by Char Dimond and Jim Farris for City of Hope, $5,000 and Cindy Woodward and John Buckner, $4,400. In second place for “Audience Choice” was Elizabeth Wood and Jim Everley, representing Assistance League and third place went to Lea Berghmans and Jim Farris dancing for Indio Performaning Arts Center. Rounding out the field was Rudy Aguirre and Nancy Horn for Red Hot Ballroom. Four fabulous exhibition dances started with our emcees for the evening, Graison Foster and Joey Doucette Nancy and Bob Horn, Love Ta Dance Cecilia Shahandeh and Ceasare Orlando, Beyond the Beat and Autumn and Jim Everley, Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
