Only 500 of 7,000 diseases come with a cure, and motor neurone disease (MND) is amongst the hundreds of diseases that haven’t seen daylight yet. A person diagnosed with MND will suffer gradual degeneration of their motor neurones, resulting in slurred speech and weak grips.
While there’s no cure yet, there are advocacies such as the Walk to d’Feet MND that caters not only to providing access to research but also lend support to families and carers of people diagnosed with MND, specifically the MND NSW. What’s even better is you can bring everyone, including your dogs in this charity walk for a cause.
Grab your friends, family and furbabies and come along to our Walk to d’Feet MND in 2023! With events in NSW and the ACT, your team can come along to your local walk and put the fun into fundraising.
Register now to start supporting those living with MND!By joining Walk to d’Feet MND, you’re helping MND NSW to provide support, education and equipment to those living with MND, as well as to their families and carers. Our walk events are designed for all ages and abilities, along stroller- and wheelchair-friendly courses you can complete at your own pace.
Your participation in the Walk to d’Feet MND has a direct impact on people living with MND and their families at the local level. Through education, support, access to carers support and advocacy, we are working to d’Feet MND and provide hope to people living with MND and their families.
